Danial was born in Oct 2002 and at 1 yr old, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Aarskog Syndrome. He had low muscle tone thus he was quite a floppy baby. We did PT for almost a yr, did OT and ST once but we see very little progress and his balance was not improving. In April 2004, I was introduced to a local support group called BISupportAsia where I learnt about ABR. We watched their VCD and I could see Danial in those children shown on the VCD. We immediately registered for ABR and started our first session in July 2004. We never regretted doing ABR. After just 1 mth we see abdominal changes in Danial. 2 mths later Danial became more responsive and aware of the happenings in his surroundings. Instead of the passive boy we knew, he was now a "changed" person. His balance improved and he was cruising very well. In May 2005, he gave me the best mother's day present ever - Danial took his first independent steps!
