Tay Jing Yu
 Jing
Yu is my second child. He has a 6 years old sister.
He was borned on August 2000 through caesarian. Everything
was normal at that time.
When he was 4 months old, I noticed
that something is wrong with him. He was so floppy at
that time. Just like a newborn baby, he could not even
hold his head for a little while.
His pediatrician referred him for a
series of tests, blood test, chromosome, MRI, EEG, etc.
Finally he is diagnosed with CP Hypotonic. Even the
neurologist does not know the exact cause of it. We
were told by the neurologist that Jing Yu would not
be normal again and nothing could be done to help him.
But I did not give up at all! I searched everywhere
for alternatives. I started Acupuncture Therapy with
him when he was 8 months old. After that, I chanced
upon the book, “What To Do With Your Brain Injured
Child”, which brought me to Philadelphia. It was the
Glen Doman Program that linked me to the knowledge
of alternatives therapies available.Jing Yu is 3 years
old now. The therapies that he is currently doing
are ABR, Cranial Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and music
therapy. These therapies are changing his life. I
will never give up. I will continue to search for
alternatives which might bring a better life for him.
